Background:  A major Financial Services organisation of circa 18k employees experiencing ongoing and sustained change to meet constantly changing market needs in a fast-moving environment.  A UK wide employer with a high-profile reputation as a leading edge employer of choice, they required a high quality outplacement and career transition service for all levels including Directors, Senior Executives, Specialists, Middle Managers and Administrators.  There was a strong desire across the Leadership Team to ensure that impacted employees were given a high level of practical and emotional support in line with the organisations values-based approach and reputation as a top Employer.  Essential criteria required the chosen supplier to have highly congruent values, clear empathetic cultural understanding and a track record of delivering highly credible, extremely effective services

Support:  Working Transitions worked closely with internal HR teams and senior management to devise a bespoke programme to support all individuals affected by the planned changes. A full range of individual and group events were delivered to employees at locations to suit their preferences – either at work, offsite or, if required, at home.  Key impact groups were employees:

We devised a varied and flexible approach suitable for a range of employees with differing skill sets, learning styles, tenure and support requirements.  Stakeholders supported included  Trade Union representatives, Line Managers and HR teams who commented on the professionalism, credibility and flexibility of the Working Transitions team.

  • 400+ employees supported in the past 3 years, with consistently excellent feedback
  • 96% of supported employees successfully settled internally or externally during their programme period
  • 99% positive feedback from employees, unions representatives and senior management
